The Federal Correctional Complex, which includes the Federal Correctional Institution and the Federal Detention Center, located in Oakdale, Louisiana is soliciting and intends to make a single award to an eligible contractor (Hospital and/or other Qualified Medical Entity) to provide medical services. Location of the medical facility must be within a fifty (50) miles radius of Oakdale, Louisiana. The successful contractor shall provide all necessary inpatient and outpatient services at their location, and/or at each institution to all Federal inmates who are housed, either temporarily or permanently, in these Bureau of Prisons facilities. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price, requirements type contract with a base year from date of award through twelve (12) months with the possibility of four (4) one (1) year option periods. The following specialists, but not limited to, and the number of estimated on-site visits, defined as a one (1) hour session, will be requested for the base year and each option period: Optometrist, 180 visits; Phlebotomist, 2880 visits; Dietician, 144 visits; Oral Hygienist, 1880 visits; Radiology Technician, 936 visits; Pharmacy Technician, 2880 visits; Cardiologist, 144 visits; Radiologist, 288 visits; Orthopedic Surgeon, 144 visits; Psychiatrist, 192 visits; and General Surgeon, 96 visits. The estimated quantities for inpatient and outpatient services for the base year and each option period are as follows: BASE YEAR - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 800; inpatient days, estimated maximum, 200; OPTION #1 - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 800; inpatient days, estimated maximum, 200; OPTION #2 - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 800; inpatient days, estimated maximum, 200; OPTION #3 - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 800; inpatient days, estimated maximum, 200; OPTION #4 - outpatient visits, estimated maximum, 800; inpatient days, estimated maximum, 200.
