The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for systems engineering support to aid in the development of fully integrated and optimized escape, life support, threat protection and survival systems. The Aviation Life Support and Survival Equipment (ALSSE) programs include aircrew mounted systems, aircraft mounted systems and systems that require a critical interface between the aircrew and the aircraft platform. This effort will address specific needs that exist relating to ALSSE programs in the following areas: stategic planning support, systems integration, research and development, data analysis and systems engineering. The estimated level of effort is 124,550 manhours a base year and options for the total five years. The contract is anticipated to be an Indefinate Delivery Indefinate Quantity type contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee task orders. This effort will be conducted primarily at the at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland.
