Requirement is for technical editing and digitizing of the Navy Journal of Underwater Acoustics (NJUA). This journal is the Navy's vehicle to publicize significant underwater acoustic research and discoveries. General requirements include: Contractor shall provide technical editing of the Navy Journal of Underwater Acoustics. Contractor may also be required to digitize the Journal for distribution on compact disk media. Potential offerors shall have technical expertise in the field of underwater acoustics and compact disk technology. A SECRET facility clearance shall be required. There is a separate optional requirement for a parallel journal on the topic of classified remote sensing science and technologies.--A contract is anticipated for a period of five years which includes option periods.--Options to extend the term of the Contract and for separately priced items will be included.--Specifications will be included with solicitation package. Prospective vendors should request, in writing, a copy of solicitation/RFP No. N00014-96-R-RS01 to be issued approximately 6/24/96 with approximate response 30 days after issuance.
