Work includes removal and disposal of No. 6 fuel oil located in three existing vertical above ground storage tanks, demolition and removal of two of these tanks, cleaning the third tank and converting it to store No. 2 fuel oil. The work also includes refinishing the exterior of the remaining two tanks. Demolish the existing berm around the tanks, removal of all contaminated soil and provide a new concrete containment. The work also includes removal of all existing No. 6 fuel oil piping and accessories. Remove existing buried oil/water separator and storage tank and replace it with new concrete oil/water separator. The work also includes the abatement of asbestos containing materials. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, this solicitation is classified as unrestricted. Requests for copies of this proposed procurement should be submitted IN Writing, state the solicitation number, and provide complete name, address, phone number and business size of the requester. Additionally, requesters should indicate whether they intend to bid as a prime contractor, subcontractor or supplier. Telephone and Telefax requests for copies of the solicitation or bidder's lists will not be accepted. Requests should be received as soon as possible in order to facilitate mailing of same, to the extent copies are available, directly to the inquirer at time of issuance. Availability of the solicitation is LIMITED and will be furnished on a first received first served basis. Requests received later than 10 days prior to the established bid opening date may not be honored due to lack of sufficient time to obtain additional copies should demand for same be substantial.
