This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) section of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA). This is a small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3825. The FBI intends to procure a total of 6 each Reflectometers and Transit cases to be delivered to 1 each Buffalo, NY; Miami, FL; Minneapolis, MN; Washington, DC; and 2 each to Quantico, VA. Reflectometers shall be battery operated and hand-held; frequency range of at least 50-3000 MHZ; able to perform distance-to-fault measusrements; capable of generating Smith Charts; capable of storing at least 30 traces; have a serial computer interface; be resistant to RF interference and utilize a single frequency CW transimission mode. A request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ.
