66 -- TOP LOADING CRYOSTAT SOL 52SBNB6C9177 DUE 060396 POC Trena Bercaw (301) 975-6324 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for one (1) top loading, liquid helium cryostat, and one (1) pumped Helium-3 insert for the requested cryostat. There shall be options for an additional one(1) to two (2) cryostats, and an option for one (1) additional insert. The cryostat shall be used for neutron scattering, and shall have an operating sample temperature range below 1.5K to 320K. Detailed specifications shall be provided in the solicitation package. The required delivery time for the first cryostat and insert is 180 days after award of contract. The required delivery time for the options shall be 180 days after exercise of the option. The FOB point shall be Destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland. All responsible, eligible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
