The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Motorola, Inc., Government and Space Technology Group, Scottsdale, AZ for low rate initial production of EX-419 Multi-function Fuzes. Motorola is the engineering and manufacturing development contractor, and the purpose of the LRIP effort is to proof out the design package. A quanity of approximately 6000 fuzes are contemplated for the LRIP action. Note 22 applies. (0142)
