The Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Harris Corp. to develop prototype operations control center (POCC) capabilities using the Government-owned ANICS Network Monitor and Control System (NMCS). This will serve as a proof of concept for a future OCC by incrementally integrating existing FAA systems into the NMCS and developing software modifications to the Harris privately developed, proprietary HINT software. This contract will be issued for a two year test period. Any vendors responding to this synopsis shall submit documentation supporting their capability and authorization to use or integrate with the HINT software. Responses to this synopsis must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation. No telephonic responses will be accepted. Responses must be submitted by 31 May 96.
