Privatization of Electrical Accessories Technology Repair Center (TRC) Workload - Sacramento Air Logistics Center/McClellan AFB CA. This is a request for information only. This is not a Request for Proposals or an indication that the Air Force intends to contract for services. The Air Force will not pay for information received in response to this request for information. The first Electrical Accessories workload RFI was dated 26 Feb 96 and published 29 Mar 96. It was followed by a crosstalk session attended by industry and the government on 12 Apr 96. This RFI, the second Electrical Accessories RFI issued, specifically targets contract type and pricing consideration. Industry responses are needed ASAP to develop our understanding of industry's views on these critical areas. The Electrical Accessories Technology Repair Center (TRC) workload involves the overhaul of DoD standard families of aircraft ground support generator sets, electric power generator sets, power supplies, wheel kits, airborne generators, panel shop, actuators, transformers, generator rewind, motor shop, generator control units, screws jacks and winches.
