The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work consists of: removing concrete foundations, removing portions of existing chainlink fence, removing gravel surfacing, remove garage building, removing electrical equipment, clearing and stripping, excavation for regrading substation site and access areas, excavation from borrow, excavations for foundations and trenches, constructing embankments, backfill and gravelfill, furnishing and installing concrete pipe culverts, chainlink fence, gravel surfacing, riprap, soil-applied herbicide, and seeding, concrete for foundations for steel structures and electrical equipment, metalwork, surge arresters and substation signs, installing Government-furnished autotransformers and power circuit breakers, furnishing and installing disconnecting switches with ground blades, selector switches, combination fuse disconnecting switches/disconnecting switches with interrupters, fuse disconnecting switches, voltage transformers, current transformers, coupling capacitor, outdoor station service, station service transformers, cable terminators, and power receptacles, grounding system, conduit, insulated conductors, cables, control cables, and bus systems. This project is located near Cheyenne County, Nebraska. The estimated order of magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation will be issued FREE OF CHARGE on double-sided, high-density DOS-formatted 3.5-inch floppy diskettes. The solicitation and specifications are formatted using WordPerfect 5.1. Copies of the solicitation may be obtained in one of the three following ways: A) Solicitation and the specifications on diskette but no drawings, B) Solicitation and the specifications on diskette with drawings on hardcopy, or C) Solicitation, specifications and the drawings by hard copy. All the CLINs will be delivery FOB destination. Therefore, all bidders must submit their bids on an ''all or none basis.'' This solicitation will be issued on or about June 17, 1996.
