It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning of this solicitation to provide an addition to Bldg. 507 at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station in Cutler, Maine to house the Station's Housing Welcome Center. The work includes removing overhead electric lines, concrete pad sidewalk, utility pole and foundation drain; providing reinforced concrete foundation, floor slab, exterior pad, and sidewalk; providing foundation drains, sanitary sewer, and storm drain with connections to respective existing systems; providing pedestrian access with pavers and vehicular access with bituminous concrete; providing a single-story, wood-framed structure and vestibule with wood roof trusses and vinyl exterior siding; providing new oil-fired boiler in Bldg. 507 and extending heating system to the addition's in slab radiant heating system; providing ventilation for the addition with connections to Bldg. 507's ventilation system; providing plumbing and extending hot and cold water piping from Bldg. 507 for water cooler, restroom and deep sink; providing interior finishes, carpeted floors, painted gypsum wall board, exterior lighting, telephone, and fire alarm systems by extending respective systems from Bldg. 507; providing grading, loaming, and seeding; and providing incidental related work.
