Contractor shall furnish and install all materials, equipment and labor necessary to renovate and expand seven (7) nurse stations, located in Building 200 of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Il., 60141. (Hines Il. is located approximately 13 miles west of downtown Chicago). Work shall include but is not limited to the removal of existing asbestos containing materials, coasework, partitions, ceilings, floor coverings and casework, and the construction of new partitions, ductwork, plumbing, electrical systems and casework. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after June 11, 1996, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompanied by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit planned for June 25, 1996 at 10:30AM local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for July 12, 1996, at 1:30pm local time.
