Applicable to the AH-64 Aircraft. FOB Destination with required
delivery of a least the minimum quantity of 70 each to New Cumberland,
PA, at a rate of 10 each 470 days ADC and 15 each per month thereafter
until completion. This procurement requires prequalification. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
the agency. Authority and justification is 10 U.S. C. 2304(c)(1);FAR
6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources and No
Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This
requirement is a Flight Safety Part that is subject to Engineering
Testing. Only approved sources who hav successfully completed the
required engineering test will be considered for award of this flight
safety part. The approved sources are: McDonnell Douglas Helicopter
Corporation, Mesa, AZ 85205; Parker Hannifin Corporation, Irvine, CA.
The award will not be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms
are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future
