This solicitation is for one 20-Ton Overhead Electric Traveling (OET) Crane to be designed, fabricated, delivered, installed and tested for Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH. The crane shall be an electrically powered, pendent controlled overrunning type 20-Ton capacity Overhead Traveling Bridge Crane with a single overrunning trolley. The trolley shall have a 20-Ton rated capacity hoist. The bridge span shall be 43 ft - 10 in. The crane shall be designed to operate on 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hertz alternating current in an indoor environment. This procurement will be a Request For Proposal. A Pre-Proposal conference may be held at the Navy Crane Center, Lester, PA, 15 days after initial issuance of the solicitation.
