This requirement was previously advertised under the same solicitation number. Due to changes in the requirement, it is being readvertised. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a competitive requirement for three centrifugal air compressors. The unit shall be brand name or equal to Ingersoll-Rand Type 2CV27M3-HP. Salient characteristics are: three stage, centrifugal rotary type compressor with nominal outlet of 2600 ACFM flow at 155 PSIA discharge pressure; throttling range down to at least 2100 ACFM before bypass. Inlet air conditions of 14.4 PSIA, 95 degrees Fahrenheit and 60% relative humidity. Two hundred GPM cooling water at 89 degrees Fahrenheit is available for each unit. The motor shall operate on 4160 VAC, 60 Hz three phase power. Maximum power consumption shall not exceed 700 HP and include a 1.15 safety factor. The compressor, motor and control/monitoring/shutdown enclosure shall be mounted on a continuous steel base plate. The entire unit shall not exceed 12 feet in length by 7.5 feet in width. The unit shall not exceed 20,000 pounds. Noise output under full load shall not exceed 85 +/-3 dBA at three feet.
