The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a contractor capable of providing Inmate Urinalysis Testing for narcotic and other substances that may be present in male and female Federal prisoners who are housed in Correctional Institutions. Incumbent contractor will perform in accordance with all terms and specifications as outlined in Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work and with Solicitation RFP 100-0581-6. Concerns having the ability to provide urinalysis testing services must respond in writing, including telephone number and point of contact, to the contracting office listed in this notice. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 06/21/96. Contract period will be a one year base period with four one-year option periods. A Single Award, Indefinite Delivery, Requirements, Firm-Fixed Price Contract is anticipated. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Period: Primary Test (EMIT) estimated quantity 130,000 each; Special Test estimated quantity 6,500 each; Steroid Test estimated quantity 45 each; LSD and/or Fentanyl Test estimated quantity 26 each; other methodology estimated quantity 30 each. Option Year 1: Primary Test (EMIT) estimated quantity 144,000 each; Special Test estimated quantity 7,000 each; Steroid Test estimated quantity 50 each: LDS and/or Fentanyl Test estimated quantity 30; other methodology estimated quantity 35 each. Option Year 2: Primary Test (EMIT) estimated quantity 160,000 each; Special Test estimated quantity 8,000 each; Steriod Test estimated quantity 55 each; LSD and/or Fentanyl Test estimated quantity 32 each; other methodology estimated quantity 41 each. Option Year 3: Primary Test (EMIT) estimated quantity 180,000 each; Special Test estimated quantity 9,000 each; Steroid Test estimated quantity 60 each; LSD and/or Fentanyl Test estimated quantity 36 each; other methodology estimated quantity 48 each. Option Year 4: Primary Test (EMIT) estimated quantity 190,000 each; Special Test estimated quantity 9,500 each; Steroid Test estimated quantity 66 each; LSD and/or Fentanyl Test estimated quantity 36 each; other methodology estimated quantity 50 each. This procurement is a total set aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this Agency. Also, the contract is subject to Service Contract Act and the Place of Performance is unknown. Wage determinations have been requested for ''Nation Wide.'' The contracting officer will furnish a copy of the Wage Determination for a specific Place of Performance if asked to do so in writing.
