Contractor to provide telephone and related equipment services to include equipment troubleshooting, repair, testing, relocations, and installations, for Defense Distribution Region West, Tracy Facility, Tracy, CA. Contractor to be qualified to perform work on AT&T Generic 2.2 system. Contractor must be able to operate the PBX Manager II station (DOS), cable pair data base (Enable), establish data bases and print required reports. Contractor to perform services on the following: single line sets, multiple line sets, key systems, automatic ring down circuits, Merlin systems, PA systems wiring. Contractor to wire runs within buildings, under floor panels, above ceilings and short, minor aerial runs from building to building. Contractor to interact with circuitry, Modem(s), types of connections and connect this equipment to communications facilities. Contractor to complete each request for service within three days and complete emergency services within 24 hours. Normal hours of work will be Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Contractor may be required to perform work on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Defense Distribution Region West, Tracy Facility, has approximately 1,094 employees and consists of approximately 440 acres which includes 27 warehouses, 39 other buildings, and open area. This will be a requirements contract for approx. 1,400 hours per year with a base plus two option years commencing 1 October 1996. Standard Industrial Code is 8999 for which the small business size standard is $5 million.
