This project is unrestricted. The Government intends to enter into negotiations and award a Firm Fixed Price contract. The work consists of the partial demolition and complete disposal of pier deck, structure, piles, utilities, systems, and fittings necessary to shorten the Alameda Gateway Timber and Concrete Piers by approximately 200 and 300 linear feet, respectively. In addition, the work shall include utility shut-off, termination and restoration, as well as, reinforced concrete repairs of the concrete pier and the design and construction of new permanent logitudinal bracing for the concrete pier. Request for Plans and Specifications shall be in writing to be received not-later-than June 19, 1996. Cost is $8.00 per set.
