but is not limited to providing all material, equipment, services and
labor required to repave existing parking lot, roofing replacement and
tuck pointing existing brick and stone walls. Remove existing concrete
and asphalt parking lot at rear of building and replace with new
asphalt paving. Provide additional fill material at a constant depth to
develop a positive drainage. Seal new paved area after cure. Stripe the
lot one full day after applying sealant. Repair concrete curbs. Remove
existing main roof and canopy loading dock roof down to clean deck and
replace with new single ply membrane on new tapered insulation,
maintaining a 1/8'' per foot pitch. Remove existing roof drain heads
and reset. Add drain heads and piping as necessary. Prior to replacing
the roofing, tuck point interior surfaces of parapet walls. Clean
surface with low pressure water. Remove loose stone, mortar joints and
patch stone and mortar joints with Michigan State Historic
Preservation Officer recommended epoxy-sand mixture. Cut and caulk
stone cap joints. Flash 100% of interior surface of the parapet with
new flexible sheet roofing. Remove and replace existing roof flashing,
mechanical and equipment curbs as necessary. Remove existing roof
penthouse and replace with new roof to match the existing slope of
existing main roof. Exterior walls of all brick and stone joints 100%
required pointing, except brick under canopy. Clean all stone work
using low pressure water and mild detergent, removing loose stone and
mortar joints, patching stone and mortar joints with Michigan State
Historic Preservation Officer recommended epoxy-sand mixture. Remove
and replace caulking at windows. Remove and replace window lintels
above canopy roof deck in the Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse,
Kalamazoo, Michigan. The completion time for this project is One
Hundred Eighty (180) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Estimated
cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Specifications will be
available on or about June 14, 1996. Offers will be opened privately on
July 23, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. (est). the proposed contract is being
procured as a total small business set-aside. Bids received from
concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered
non-responsive and will be rejected. The Small Business Size Standard
for this project is $7 million. Funds are currently not available. To
