Z -- REPAIR/REPLACE EXISTING RACQUETBALL AND BASKETBALL COURT FLOORS & INSTALL MECHANICAL SYSTEMS IN BUILDINGS 3610, 3932, 6990 AND 6992 SOL DAKF23-96-B-0058 DUE 081596 POC Contract Specialist Kevin Day (502) 798-7824 (Site Code DAKF23) Work consists of installation of new mechanical systems in existing courts at the four buildings; Repair, refinish or replace existing racquetball and basketball courts in the four buildings; Existing wood floors shall be salvaged, refinished and reinstalled in racquetball courts; New gymnasium floors shall be synthetic; Additional work shall include repainting of court markings, installation of plastic laminated panels on walls, upgrade of doors, and installation of view windows (to be included as an additive alternate). New floor markings shall be in compliance with requirements of National Federation of State High School Association and other authorities as applicable. Period of performance is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542. Small business size standard is average annual receipts of a concern and all affiliates cannot exceed $17 million for the preceding three fiscal years. Project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the ''Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988'' and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program; therefore, this solicitation is unrestricted.
