Z -- EXPANSION OF AMBULATORY CARE SERVICES, BLDG. NO. 1 SOL 520-19-96 DUE 070296 POC Ben Kotulski Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the major renovation of existing facility for the Expansion of Ambulatory Care Services, all in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. The work includes asbestos abatement, demolition of existing boiler room and loading dock, including metal canopies. New work includes the installation of traction and hydraulic elevators, loading dock, aluminum canopies, handicap ramps and gas storage tanks. Additional new work consists of renovations for a new morgue area and eye clinic, including the furnishing and installation of designated clinical equipment for these areas. Construction Cost Estimate: $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. All work to be completed within 450 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 19, 1996, at 1:00 p.m. (local time), Bldg. No. 53, Room No. 2A117, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Biloxi, MS. A limited number of bid documents will be made available upon written request prior to the issue date of June 3, 1996. A non-refundable charge in the dollar amount of $135.00 will be required for each set of bidding materials requested. Your written application must include a certified check, cashier check or money order made payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Personal or company checks will not be accepted. The award of this solicitation is subject to a 90 day bid acceptance time and is contingent on the availability of funds.
