McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires design and development of 220 each semiconductor detonators and 160 each explosive bellows actuators for the MK1 and MK2 Mine Clearance System. These replacement components for the M1134A3E1 Linear Demolition Charge fuze are required for preliminary testing and analyses in anticipation of obtaining WSESRB Certification for future field deployment. The components must be manufactured in accordance with NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane Statement of Work, MIL-B-63094B, MIL-Q- 9858A, MIL-T-31000, MIL-STD-100E, and MIL-STD-331B and are required to be HERO-resistant. Testing IAW MIL-I-23659 is required. Delivery is required FoB Crane within 30 days from contract award. Due to its unique expertise in the area of SCB detonators, this effort will be solicited on a sole-source basis from Quantic Industries, Inc., San Carlos, CA.
