89 -- ICE SOL DABT47-96-B-0016 DUE 070896 POC Contract Specialist Bill Trakas (803) 751-4837 (Site Code DOCDOC) Contractor to provide and deliver the following: estimated 10,800 blocks of ice to approximately 26-53 military ranges one(1) or two(2) times daily and estimated 9,000 bags of ice to approximately 3-16 dining facilities daily excluding Sundays. All deliveries to Fort Jackson, S.C. The anticipated dates of this requirement type contract will be 1 August 1996 through 31 July 1997 plus two(2) one-year options. Delivery required between the following hours: 06:30 to 09:00 and or 12:00 to 14:00 hours. Contractor must be listed on the U.S. ARMY VETERINARY COMMAND DIRECTORY OF SANITARILY APPROVED FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS FOR ARMED FORCES PROCUREMENT, VETCOM Circular 40-1. The estimated weight per block of ice is eleven(11) to fifteen(15) pounds and the estimated weight per bag of crushed ice is forty(40) to fifty(50) pounds.
