crossings.--Determine if installation of road/road intersection traffic
control devices would improve driver behavior at road/rail crossings
without diminishing compliance at road/road intersections.--Extract and
compare data on traffic accidents.--Identify and assess other low-cost
devices that may achieve the goal.--Includes analysis of data in
existing US DOT inventory and traffic accident databases, conduct of a
focus groups, product identification and impact analysis.--All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by
FHWA.--The requestor's DUNS number should be included in the
request.--To expedite the request, please furnish two self-addressed
gummed labels for each solicitation requested.--The solicitation number
should appear on the bottom edge of the labels.--Period of performance
