The Library of Congress (LC) has a requirement to recover pictorial images from long rolls of 35mm film and Digital Audio Tapes (DAT) and to reprocess these images to meet certain specifications. The source materials remain from a number of earlier activities that were not brought to completion. The images reproduce eight historical pictorial collections of the Library of Congress. Depending upon the collection, the 35mm film is either half- or full-frame, while the DAT tapes contain ''TGA'' files. Some images from both sources are segments and must be concatenated to produce larger images. The delivered images are to be in TIFF and JPEG formats at various levels of resolution, depending upon the collection. The delivered images shall be logically named and/or numbered and delivered on write-once CD-ROM disks.
