0155-96 -- Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BVS) Bradley Eye Safe Laser
Range Finder (BELRF) effort. Requirement is restricted to Hughes
Aircraft Company. This requirement is for the BELRF Kit, which is
installed in the existing Integrated Sight Unit and is a single pulse
laser device capable of determining range to a specific target from 200
to 10,000 meters. The BELRF is accurate to plus or minus 10 meters and
can discriminate a target separated by 20 meters. Its maximum range on
a standard 10 percent reflective North Atlantic Treaty Organization
(NATO) target on a day where visibility is 8,000 meters is 6,000
meters. This requirement also consists of two years of options. A
synopsis is issued for the primary purpose of improving small business
access to contracting and subcontracting opportunities. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
the agency. Any subcontracting questions should be directed to the
