Y -- REHABILITATION OF FEDERAL STREAMBANK STABILIZATION SOL DACW45-96-B-0060 DUE 071296 POC Contract Specialist: Barb Rennert (402) 221-4114. The project is located along the left and right banks of the Missouri River, between river miles 800 and 753 in South Dakota and Nebraska. The project consists of (Approx. quantities) rehabilitating 3065 feet of revetment, 30 feet of hardpoint, and 25 feet of refusal. This work will require placement of approximately 6385 tons of stone. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing and no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available.
