Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: FY96 design/build project for whole neighborhood revitalization. Scope provides for the revitalization of 44 junior noncommissioned officer (NCO) family quarters by converting 88 three bedroom eight-plex family housing units constructed between 1955 to 1957 into 44 four and five bedroom units with garages. Scope of work includes asbestos removal, reconfiguration of walls, renovation of kitchens and bathrooms, upgrade of heating and electrical systems, additional insulation, vapor barrier and sound insulation between units. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services.
