Federal Center, Building No. 1, 50 N. Washington Avenue, Battle Creek,
Michigan. Performance period is seventy five (75) calendar days from
receipt of notice to proceed, with an estimated start date of 100496.
Scope of work include but is not limited to removing existing roofing
in its entirety and immediately installing a vapor barrier over the
entire deck; removing and legally dispose of existing aggregate
surfaced B.U.R., vapor barrier, walkway treads, metal counter
flashings, fabric base flashing, thermo-setting insulation, etc and
preparing slab for new roof assembly; installing new tapered
insulations, fiberboard overlayment, aggregate surfaced B.U.R., fabric
base flashings, metal counter - flashings, roof drain strainers,
liquid waterproofing, etc.; and removing all construction equipment,
etc., repairing and restoring all items of elements of construction
disturbed by work of the contract, and fulfill all post construction
requirements as specified. The estimated cost range for this project is
between $100,000 and $500,000. Specifications will be available on or
about June 17, 1996. Offers are due July 24, 1996, at 4:00 p.m.
(Chicago time). This solicitation is set aside for all business
concerns in accordance with the Small Business Competitive
Demonstration Program. Therefore, responses from both small and large
business concerns will be considered and evaluated for selection. The
applicable small business size standard is $7,000,000. Funds are not
