Presolicitation Notice. Replace HVAC, Bldg 614, Eglin AFB FL. Estimated date for bid opening is 18 Jul 96. Work consists of replacement of HVAC systems for Building 614. The work includes an addition to the existing structure. The addition will include concrete footings, concrete masonry unit foundation walls, slab on grade, bearing steel stud walls, steel joists, plywood deck, batt insulation, and metal roofing, steel doors and frames, painting, abatement asbestos and lead-base paint abatement, and minor sitework. Mechanical/electrical work includes installation of new handlers, new chiller, 100% outside air DX unit, ductwork modifications and new duct work, piping modifications and new piping, modification of existing controls and new controls, associated electrical power and lighting. Asbestos abatement shall be performed by a contractor licensed by the State of Florida. Abatement of lead-base paint shall be performed strictly in accordance with all local, federal and state of Florida regulations. Performance period is 150 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
