Portions of the technical specifications have been re-written, thereby making the specifications less restrictive. A Pre-Solicitation Notice (SF 1417) shall be issued to all firms which had requested the plans and specifications under the previously issued solicitation. Project is to include all labor, equipment, and material repair of piping joints and valves, a complete system test including UV/IR detection system and fire pump, replacement of existing AFFF monitors and control panels, upgrade of existing fire alarm system and provide a pollution protection system as specified. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. The new solicitation document DAHA39-96-B-0003 will be available o/a 12 Jun 96. Although this acquisition is unrestricted, your written request for the bid document package MUST state your business size. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this project is 1711. Any firm with an annual average gross revenue of $7 million or less for the last 3 fiscal years is considered a small business.
