This software must provide the following capabilities: work management, asset management, inventory management, purchasing, and financial accounting. The software must meet the following AEDC technical and architectural requirements: (1)three tiered client/server based, OLE2 and ODBC compliant, (2) supports the following client operating systems: Windows 95, Windows NT, and presents same look and feel on UNIX, and MacIntosh OS clients through emulation, (3) supports both MS-SQL Server and Oracle relational databases, (4) supports a hybrid server operating system mix where UNIX is used for the database servers and a Windows NT Server is used for the CMMS, (5) supports networking using TCP/IP, and (6) developed with a Windows enterprise client/server architecture design tool. The contractor furnishing the CMMS software must also be capable of providing consulting services. The contractor shall assist in the implementation of the CMMS software consistent with the AEDC re-engineering processes to include absorbing existing AEDC software applications to the maximum extent possible. The contractor shall develop and implement software interfaces to other existing AEDC applications and data not absorbed by the CMMS.
