Tormey, 813/840-5457 The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Directorate of Intelligence, is seeking sources interested in providing support for the next USSOCOM OMNIBUS contract. The primary area to be supported will be the Special Operations Command Research Analysis and Threat Evaluation System (SOCRATES) for the Directorate of Intelligence and Component Commands. Support required for USSOCOM and its components include a broad range of managerial and technical services including System Integration Management Support; Configuration Management; Network, System, and Database Administration; System Integration and Testing Support; Studies; Evaluations and Assessments; Training and Education; and Documentation preparation and review. Performance will take place at USSOCOM, its components, subcomponents, and remote sites. Offerors will be required to have a minimum of 55 personnel-approved clearances of at least SCI-Top Secret. Contractor personnel shall be able to deploy to CONUS and/or OCONUS locations. These deployments may involve hazardous duty assignments in which the Contractor personnel will be required to continue to provide services specified in the event of war, national emergency, or local hostiliity. The Government anticipates awarding a cost type contract for one base year with four one-year options for the period of 01 Oct 1997 through 30 Sep 2002. The Government anticipates conducting a Full and Open competition but does reserve the right to set-aside the requirement for small business, SDB, or 8(a) participation only.
