The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole source contract to Vitro Corporation, 45 West Guide Drive, Rockville, MD 20850 for the services and materials necessary to support the new construction stage 2 DDG 51 Class Automatic Cable Testing (ACT) Program. This support includes: Identifying impacts of proposed/planned cable changes on ACT program; Proposing modifications required to support cable changes; Developing test data, sketches and other necessary data for use in the preparation of Test Change Proposals; Incorporating approved changes into the existing DDG 51 software/database and interface adapters; Preparing updates to the DDG 51 Class ACT Program Product Base Line Index (PBLI); Evaluating Test Problem Reports; Performing scheduled routine maintenance, and repair of Programmable Automatic Cable Test (PRACT II) software/database and hardware and interface adapter hardware; and Maintaining a reasonable inventory of replacement parts to support routine maintenance and repair of PRACT II hardware.
