Z -- PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR M.W.R., AT BUILDING 123 SOL N62472-96-B-3234 DUE 070196 POC Contact Point, For plans and specs call,, (908)323-2494 The work includes all materials, equipment, labor and supervison required for construction of a new asphalt parking lot, including related curbing, earthwork, landscaping, signs and pavement markings, removal of a portion of an existing asbestos drain line, construction of a replacement draingage route including minor piping, head wall, and swale, walks and incidental related work. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1611. The related Small Business Size Standards is $17.0 million annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years. The contract includes provision for three options: Bid Item 0002 (Option 1) all work related to demolition, replacement and construction of curbs, excluding curb cut for handicapped access to new sidewalk to Building 123 (curb cut is part of Bid Item 0001) (30) days will be added to the established contract completion date; Bid Item 0003 (Option 2) all work related to the planting of trees (30) days will be added to the established contract completion date; Bid Item 0004 (Option 3) all work related to the removal of 6'' to 10'' stabilized gravel roadbed (30) days will be added to the established contract date. NOTE TO CONTRACTORS: IN THE EVENT THAT THE GOVERNMENT EXERCISES MORE THAN ONE OPTION AT THE SAME TIME, THE CONTRACT TIME FOR COMPLETION WILL ONLY BE EXTENDED THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE ESTABLISHED COMPLETION DATE. IF THE GOVERNMENT EXERCISES OPTION AT DIFFERENT TIMES, THE CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE WILL BE EXTENDED THIRTY (30) DAYS FOR EACH TIME. The contract includes the clause titled ''Evaluation of Options'' (FAR 52.217-5) Except when determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interest, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirements. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). (End of Provision).
