Z -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION IN THE SANTA ANA DISTRICT SOL 052571-96-A-0048 DUE 062696 POC Grace Batesting, Contracts Secretary, 415/794-6336 or Nancy Young, Contract Specialist, 415/794-6338. The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for an indefinite quantity contract (IQC) for repair and alteration projects at various USPS-owned and leased facilities located in the Santa Ana District, which consists of the following counties in California: Orange, and portions of Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino. The contract term will be two years. Quantity of work ordered will not be less than $10,000 nor more than $250,000. The contract contains an option(s) to increase the maximum dollar value of orders which can be placed to $1,000,000. Multiple awards may be made. Offerors are required to submit a single multiplier to be applied to unit prices to determine the value of each work order issued. The multiplier must contain the offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance, and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. The minority subcontracting goal for this contract(s) will be 10%. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of current State of California General Building Contractors License (b) issued in the name of the offeror/contractor or principal of the firm must be received within ten days after receipt of intent-to-award letter. The Postal Service does not accept individual sureties. There is a non-refundable charge of $25.00 for a copy of the solicitation.
