Z -- REPLACEMENT OF UNDERGROUND STEAM MAINS, 3700 BLOCK SOL DAKF23-96-B-0066 DUE 081596 POC Contract Specialist Kevin Day (502) 798-7824 (Site Code DAKF23) Work in this project includes replacement of existing buried steam piping in the 3700 block of this post, piping and valves inside the existing utility manholes, piping connections to existing building steam systems, replacement of condensate piping where indicated cathodic protection of new buried steam piping and installation of fencing and canopy roofs at selected utility manholes. The existing conduit system is to be removed and the new system installed in the same location. The period of performance is 120 calendar days. Forth coming contract will be firm-fixed price. The estimated range for this project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the ''Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988'' and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is Unrestricted. For the purpose of determining Small Business size, SIC 1623, for this acquisition, the average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $17 million.
