Wing intends to contract for Launch Base Support (LBS) Services at
Vandenberg AFB CA that will provide mission essential technical support
for ground systems associated with spacelift operations. Major tasks to
be performed include: Operation and Maintenance of Real Property
Installed Equipment (RPIE) and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE); i.e.,
electrical, mechanical, structural systems and pressure vessels, and
equipment that is unique to the launch systems such as the Titan
Security Systems; corrosion control at the launch support facilities;
sustaining engineering of ground systems associated with the launch,
payload and instrumentation systems and subsystems for the 30th Space
Wing related programs; technical support to include engineering
construction services, planning, design, studies and analyses,
fabrication, project coordination and scheduling, repairs and
refurbishment, quality control, drafting and cost estimating; ancillary
support services for configuration management, security program, safety
program, utilities conservation program, training program, precision
measurement calibration equipment program, and logistics support
program. The proposed contract will contain a Firm Fixed-Price, 30-day
phase-in period; a Fixed Price Incentive Fee line item for the O&M
effort, Cost Reimbursable line items for equipment/facility repair,
Work Requests, Materials/Equipment, and Leased Vehicles, and labor-hour
line items for corrosion control, sustaining engineering, and power
plant operation. The contract performance period is for a one-year
basic with four one-year option periods. The Government will be
providing facilities for technical operation only on Vandenberg AFB.
Administrative space will not be provided on Vandenberg AFB. The
applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8711 with a size
standard of $20 million. This competition will be a Technically
Acceptable, Low Priced Competition, Small Business Set-Aside.

contracts (commercial or government), contract numbers, dollar value,
