General services administration wishes to announce thaton or about June 12,1996, the Solicitation FCGE-96-0014-N for COST-per-copy (CPC) copier requirements for the department of Navy, Defense Printing Service detachment Branch office (dpsdbo) and any other DOD/Federal Government activity for whom dpsdbo is acting as an agent in and around the Keesler Air Force base and thegulfport, Mississippi area will be issued. This procurement will require furnishing of copiers and all accessories, furnishing and delivery of consumable supplies (except paper), emergency repair service, periodic preventive maintenance and key operators training. Copier requirements have been broken down into four volume bands defined as follows: Volume band I, 15 copies per minute minimum, and 1-5,000 copies per month; volume band II, 20 copies per minute minimum, and 5,001-15,000 copies per month; volume band III, 30 copies per minute minimum, and 15,001-30,000 copies per month; volume band IV, 45 copies per minute minimum, and 30,001-45,000 copies per month. The Defense Printing Service detachment Branch office has Given an initial machine estimate of 201 units. Offered copiers are to be the manufacturer'S current productionmodels, either new or newly remanufactured. This procurement will benegotiated. One award will be made. The resultant contract will be a firm, fixed price, requirements type contract. The contract period for this procurement will be for one year beginning 01 October 1996, through September 30, 1997, with the option to extend for three years.
