39 -- ONE 15-TON OVERHEAD ELECTRIC TRAVELING (OET) CRANE, AND ONE 10-TON OVERHEAD ELECTRIC TRAVELING (OET) CRANE SOL N62472-96-R-1501 DUE 071896 POC JoAnn M. The Government intends to issue a competitive Request For Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of one 15-Ton Overhead Electric Traveling (OET) Crane for Pearl Harbor, HI; and one 10-Ton Overhead Electric Traveling (OET) Crane for Ford Island, HI. The cranes shall be designed as General Purpose Service. This RFP will be issued as a total Small Business Set-Aside. The cranes are to be designed, manufactured, shop-assembled, delivered, installed and tested by the contractor in accordance with the requirements of the contract. The crane for Pearl Harbor shall be an electrically powered, cab controlled overhead traveling double girder bridge type with a single overrunning hoist/trolley. The crane for Ford Island shall be an electrically powered, pendent controlled, 10-ton capacity top running double girder bridge and trolley type. This RFP will be distributed on 3.5 inch disks in MICROSOFT WORD and EXCEL on or about June 18, 1996. All firms responding will be required to print and return Sections B and K and various attachments with their proposals. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held on a date to be determined. (0149)
