This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04611-96-R-0048. This is a Request for Proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37 and DAC 91-9. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside, the standard industrial classification code is 3669, number of employees is 750. The acquisition includes Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0001, PCM Bit Synchronizer with IEEE-488 Remote control option, 9 each, which meet the following specifications: 1) input signal acceptance range of 0.25 - 10 V p-p, 2) DC offset voltage with high impedance ( 20 kilo-Ohms+/- 1%) of 40 Volts RMS, 3) DC offset voltage with low impedance (5 Ohms +/- 5 %) of 7.5 Volts RMS, 4) minimum of four (4) inputs, selectable from the front panel and inputs must be single ended, 5) selectable loop bandwidths of : 0.1%, 0.15%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8%, 1.2%, 1.6%, 6) front panel display showing as a minimum the Data Type, Bit rate, signal lock, loop bandwidth and signal source, 7) internal clock signal @ 0 degree, 90 degrees, 8) Output code converter, 9) operating range up to 15 Mb/s (NRZ-L), 10) capable of monitoring the data, clock and input from front panel jacks, 11) not to exceed 5.5'' (H) x 24'' (D) x 19'' (W) (standard 19'' rack mountable), 12) AC power input of 115VAC +/- 10 VAC @ 60 Hz +/- 3 Hz, 13) comply with IRIG Standard 106-93, Telemetry Standards Class I & II. CLIN 0002, PCM bit synchronizer with IEEE-488 remote control and external clock input options, 2 each, to include the above specifications 1-13. CLIN 0003, PCM bit synchronizer with external clock input with front panel selector switch for external/internal clock and RNRZ-L output, 9 each, to include the above specifications 1-13.
