This is a brand name requirement for Sony equipment no other brand is acceptable. The Government requires the following items, Sony DVW-A500 Digital Betacam VTR 4 ea, Sony DVW-A700 Digital Betacam 2 ea, Sony BKDW-505 2 ea, Fujinon A15X8BEVM Camcorder Lens 2 ea; and Sony RMM-110 rack mount kit for DVW-A500 2 ea. All other requirements will be in the solicitation. The performance period is 30 days ARO. An Ombudsman has been appointed for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channel to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
