The US Army Information Systems Selection and Acquisition Agency intends to acquire for the Army and other DOD components (excluding Navy and Air Force) commercial personal computers, operating systems, office automation software suites, hard disk drives, other related items, 30/45-day delivery, telephonic support, and a minimum of a three-year, world-wide warranty. Dual IDIQ awards will be made with 24-month ordering periods. This acquisition is the follow-on to the Army's Personal Computer-1 contracts. This announcement is a follow-on to the CBD notice published 19 Mar 96 for the PC-2 draft RFP. Comments on the draft RFP closed on 8 May 96; the final RFP is anticipated to be released early Jun 96; proposals will be due 8 Jul 96; all responsible sources may submit proposals. The final RFP will replace the draft RFP in its entirety on the USAISSAA Electronic Bulletin Board System (EBBS) at 703 325-6095 for 9600 bps; 703 325-4876 for 14.4K bps; 703 325-5229 for 28.8K bps; communication parameters: 8N1 and on the internet at website http://issaa-www.army.mil or 143.134.132.67.
