Specialist at (404)842-6787 The Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) contemplates awarding a personal services contract to
provide technical consultative services as a research microbiologist
to the CDC and while assigned to the Uganda Virus Research
Institute/CDC HIV Variants Collaborative Research project. The
contractor shall coordinate the provision of laboratory support to
epidemiologic, clinical, laboratory, and behavioral research designed
to improve the understanding and knowledge of genetic variants of HIV
and their transmissibility and clinico-pathogenesis characteristics.
The anticipated contract period of performance is 12 months with four
1-year option periods. Only written requests for copies of the
solicitation will be honored and may be faxed to (404) 842-6727.
Telephone requests will not be accepted. The date specified for receipt
of offers will be approximately 30 days after the RFP issue date.
Requests for the RFP must specify the RFP No. 200-96-0534(P). All
responsible sources that meet the above requirements may submit a
