R -- PROVIDE WEATHER OBSERVATIONS DUE 010796 POC Sharon Calabro, FAX (816) 426-3694 THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO IDENTIFY FIRMS TO PROVIDE WEATHER OBSERVATIONS. The Federal Aviation Administration, Central Region, anticipates several requirements for documenting and disseminating aviation weather observations, at various locations in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. Observations will be made/recorded in accordance with FHM1 and other applicable Federal Directives. Firms with the capability to provide this service should submit a letter indicating interest to the Federal Aviation Administration, ACE-22B, ATTN: Sharon Calabro, or FAX No. (816) 426-3694. All letters/FAXs should indicate IA, KS, MO or NE, and must be received by July 1, 1996. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. A questionnaire will be forwarded to those firms requesting information and will be utilized in determining the firms most qualified to provide this service. The firms determined to be most qualified will be placed on a Pre-Qualified Vendor's List, and subsequently provided a statement of work for review and requested to submit a price offer for the services.
