The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires a national lender to provide a mortgage subsidy program, including direct billing of closing costs, for its employees, beginning on or around September 1, 1996. This program will be provided on a nationwide basis. Solicitation CC-96-R-0010 is anticipated to be released on or about June 24, 1996. The mission of the OCC is to ensure the safety and soundness of the national banking system. To avoid any conflict of interest, lenders who are affiliated with nationally chartered banks will be excluded from consideration. All other responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the OCC. All requests for a copy of the solicitation must be made in writing. (145)
