Work consists of tank removals, site investigations and remediation, and minor site work and construction. The UST and AST removal includes preparation of work plans, identification, removal and disposal of liquids and sludges from the UST's and AST's, venting, purging, excavating, removal and disposal of UST/AST's, abandonment in-place of UST and ASTs, limited free product and contaminated groundwater removal from the excavation, soil boring and monitoring well installation, sampling and testing of soils and groundwater, backfilling and grading, providing a Closure Report and appropriate safety monitoring. Site investigations and remediation includes the preparation of work plans, soil boring and monitoring well installation, sampling and testing of soils and groundwater, excavation of contaminated soils, limited free product recovery and contaminated groundwater removal from the excavation, backfilling and grading, providing a report which documents the field activities and appropriate safety monitoring. Site work includes but is not limited to concrete pad removal and disposal, concrete and asphalt pavement removal and replacement, canopy, small building and fencing removal and disposal incidental to the UST/AST removal or abandonment and the site investigation or remediation. This will be an INDEFINITE QUANTITY contract for a Base Year with a Government Option for 1 additional year. Estimated cost range for EACH YEAR IS $500,000 - $1,000,000.
