The Air Force intends to issue a full and open competitive Request for Quotation for Construction of a Link Connecting Buildings 1833 and 1834. The principle items of work include, but are not limited to: furnishing all materials, labor, supplies, equipment, tools, transportation, and plant necessary to perform all operations in connection with the manufacture and installation of a metal structure connecting both buildings located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order is planned with an expected period of performance of 45 calendar days from the date of contract award with the exception of long lead items which shall be verified, in writing, from the supplier to the Contracting Officer. A start date is planned for July 1996, contingent upon the availability of funds. All interested organizations should respond, in writing, within 15 days of this notice, but not later than 2:00 P.M. E.S.T. 21 June 1996. Contractor will complete the work in accordance with the Statement of Work available from Hanscom Air Force Base Construction Contracting.
