Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to, an almost
complete retrofit of the two existing passenger elevators located in
the Paul Findley Federal Building in Springfield, IL. The machine rooms
will be enclosed with sound rated partitions. The non-rated hoistway
doors will be replaced with rated 1930's style bronze doors and
interior will be refinished to provide a complementary design.
Specifications will be available on or about June 24, 1996. Negotiated
bids will be due by 4:30 pm on July 24, 1996. Completion time for this
project is 350 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed.
Estimated financial range is between $100,000 and $500,000. The
Standard Industrial Classification Code 1796, with an industry small
business size standard of an average annual gross revenue of $7.0
