Project Description: Construct an addition to the existing steel support structure, of a 75-ton Rooftop Air Conditioning Unit, as a safety/service catwalk. Currently the support structure is simply a configuration of steel wide flanged beams. This project is to fabricate and attach a structural steel frame and bar floor grating catwalk to the existing support structure. (The frame and grating shall produce approximately 300 square feet of floor space). Catwalk installation includes a guard rail and two suspended ladders. Fabricate a canopy over the Control panel corner of the structure, and perform minor incidental electrical work required to install miscellaneous lighting. Cost range for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Solicitation Package 96-123(Q) will be available on or about June 14, 1996.
